Charcoal Portrait Of Gemma The Lurcher - From Start to Finish

This month’s “Start to Finish” pet portrait piece is Gemma the Lurcher who took around 15 hours to complete and was done in A3 size. She was a pleasure to draw because she has such lovely markings and big expressive eyes. Gemma sadly passed away last year so this commission was done to commemorate her. I am told she was a bit of a character, definitely the pack leader and also a bit of a princess!
